In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
William Wordsworth
We studied this poem in English class in our childhood and recently when my son brought home a bunch of daffodils from a National Honor Society fundraiser i was reminded about this poem by Wordsworth so i had to paint them.
This completes my series of flowers with black backgrounds- quite a learning experience!
Happy Easter!!
Beautiful Priti - love the dramatic look of the yellow on that dark background. Wonderful piece - Happy Easter to you too (& Spring!)
