In this series I am playing with different scales
of pattern, scribbles, loose lines, collage and paint transfers contrasting with
large scale solid areas.
The energy in these works comes from the use of a variety of lines and hidden
text.
These paintings are a combination of shapes,lines and textures built up in
layers. My focus was on lost and found edges and keeping a lightness and
freshness in the work.
All 3 paintings are intuitive and came together almost by itself. The loose
brush work contrasts beautifully with the defined pattern.
