This small mixed media painting inspired by the beautiful colors of fall in New England, by the colors I see outside my window. Corn, carrots, daffodils, and buttercups.

This painting reminds me of Fall/ Autumn colors. Autumn is a wonderful time in New England when the green color on leaves of trees and shrubs change to various shades of yellow, orange, red and brown. This mixed media still life painting is an ode to the season.

This is a part of a series i am working on of American landscapes. I am using past photos and cropping them to create a pleasing  landscape composition. "New England Fall"
This painting is sold to a wonderful lady who saw it last year at  the Chelmsford library solo show but did not have the budget for it then . She later messaged me in Feb. (months later), to fine out if it was still available. It was so i sold it to her for the lower price i had at the show.

I know that we are not ready for fall yet but Galleries and shows are requesting a fall theme already. So here is a very dramatic painting with beautiful fall colors and a blue jay amidst rain drops on branches and wet leaves.This painting is going for a fall show  at the Floral Arts Gallery!
