The warm weather is here in New England and it reminds me of summer vacations and running around with my (younger) kids in the park. 

 This painting has many surprises and beautiful marks that come up when you are just exploring and experimenting. The implied movement of round red balls amongst the grass green and sandy white passages reminds me of kids running and playing ball on a bright sunny day.
Abstract marks are so mesmerizing!!!

"Woven Into the Landscape" is a mixed media acrylic painting that explores the idea of gestural lines. Gestural lines are spontaneous, rhythmic, almost animated. These lines are dynamic and have energy, not slow and controlled. They have a sense of vitality and freedom, almost like a dance.
