Last year in August i visited Byam Farms in Chelmsford for a quick sketches and photo study session of the farm. The small farm is attached to the Barrett–Byam Homestead is a historic house, headquarters of the Chelmsford Historical Society.
This painting is inspired by their collection of Apple trees, using a dynamic diagonal composition.
This is my first painting of the new year. Happy New Year!!
