Framed size 12" x 12"
Acrylic and mixed media on wood panel
$350

This painting expresses the theme of being "rooted and grounded" through its use of layered forms, earth-inspired tones, and nature motifs. The combination of geometric shapes and organic elements—such as the leaf-like patterns in green and red—suggests connection to nature and stability. The presence of grid-like patterns and intersecting lines further reinforces the idea of structure and rootedness, as if mapping out an underlying foundation.

The overall collage effect, mixing vibrant and muted colors, evokes a sense of layers built up over time, much like roots establish themselves in the earth before growth above ground is visible. Abstract botanical imagery and the harmonious division of space hint at growth. The subtle inclusion of floral and foliage patterns amid the textured, grounded background strengthens the idea of thriving from a stable base, visually embodying the concept of being "rooted and grounded."

Morning Walk II

 12" x12"

Mixed media on wood panel

Isn't this one magical?

The colored dots give the painting a surprising twist.

There are two of these bird compositions with interesting abstract backgrounds that took a long time and a lot of experimentation to evolve into this exciting presentation.

Detailed black and white drawing juxtaposed with a textured, loose background makes for an exciting difference.

Painting my Grocery List. This is the third item on my list - Red Onions. #redonions

This is a more abstracted version. This series continues to explore both semi realistic as well as abstracted. #abstractart #circlepainting #circlemovement #geometricart

Large contemporary painting
22" x 28"
$500
Watercolor and acrylic on paper

This is a large, professionally framed, contemporary painting of a dancing Ganesh. Lord Ganesh is the “God of Beginnings” and “Remover of Obstacles.” His cosmic dancing form provides a different experience to the viewer and using bright and "happy" colors exudes joyous grace and dignity. The keri/mango/paisley design in the background signifies memories, heritage and friendship.

This painting is up for auction this weekend to raise money for a very good cause Vision Aid. 100% of proceeds will go to support the programs for the visually impaired. Vision-Aid, a 501 (c) (3) for the past fifteen years is working to empower the visually impaired to live with independence and dignity. Their mission is to ‘Enable - Educate - Empower’ the visually impaired.

Fruit Bowl
12" x 12"
Acrylic and mixed media on gallery-wrapped canvas
SOLD

This painting is inspired by the one thing that is present in almost every home - a fruit bowl. A dish, vessel, tureen, pot, container to hold produce. Because it is such a universal idea it holds a lot of fascination for me as a painter. I had a lot of fun coming up with the colors and textures for this painting.
Drawing some of the fruits in was a last minute decision because just leaving it as an abstract painting might not appeal to everyone.

Summer Arrangement
Large alcohol ink and acrylic on yupo
20" x 26"
$475 unframed

Beautiful blooms vividly captured in an abstract, impressionistic style. This imaginary floral composition captures the magnificent colors of nature using alcohol inks. The bold colors and imagery convey joy, beauty and graceful forms of nature.

Another fun workshop with kids. This time it is a watercolor demo and workshop at a local library as part of their summer programs for kids.
