Watercolor on paper
9" x 12"

This is a painting of the beauty of New England winter- cold, serene and quiet! I did this painting to use as a study to teach students to paint a winter landscape. The color of the sky is often reflected in the snow on the ground and the patches of water. The wet snow also show the colors of the surrounding landscape. New England is lovely when blanketed with winter white snow. Hope you enjoys the upcoming season with invigorating walks on a  fresh winter day or sipping hot apple cider by a warm fireplace!
